Gleam
Let the development shine
Make scalable and reliable code easily...
Gleam is a new kid on the block, a new language that's transpiling to Erlang and JavaScript so, it's letting us build projects which can run on the server side using Erlang or JavaScript (Node or Deno) and on the client side, in the browser, using JavaScript.
This book is the way you can build your hat for Gleam and start building applications for backend, frontend, or full-stack, we are going to give you the tools and you can roll your ideas.

The two ways of Gleam
to do
Let's talk about our options. On the one hand, we can use Gleam with BEAM where you can join the development of a vibrant community on the server side. On the other hand, we can use Gleam with JavaScript and deploy it for the server, the browser, or whatever environment where you can use NodeJS, Deno or Bun. Don't worry, it's not something you chose only once, you can change whenever and try both choices.
